Dream Home Minimum Requirements: |
In my dream
home, the couch is mine. I would prefer being the only dog because I am not big on sharing with other canines, but I do enjoy playing with other dogs. Little puppies I can take in small doses. Some kitties are ok, some aren't. So my dream home has only humans and a couch, a big couch. Oh, I also must, absolutely must, have a squeaky ball in my dream home. |

Shelter, dumped by owners along with other dog |
All sorts of grown up and just downright fabulous, that is me: Coop. My birthday is December 28, 2000, and I am a big couch potato, weighing in at 86 pounds. Turning 7 is lucky. That is a lucky number because this is the year you are going to fall in love with me. I can’t wait to fall in love with you and give the kisses and cuddles you need. I have been in rescue for a while now. I am not real sure why as I am pretty confident I kick some serious tail. Being a grownup has a lot of benefits for humans, like the fact that I am potty trained, calm, full size, and confident – I come with very few surprises. I am not going to be a crazy puppy and run around like a banshee. I am way more dignified than that! Kopy (adopted already) and I were dumped in a Virginia kill shelter. Why? Our human just said "need to give up." Does that sound logical to you? Hopefully our new homes will be forever homes. I am the "large-sized" husky if you know what I mean. Let me assure you I am all gentle giant and don’t mind being used as a pillow when you need one. I like to think that being so big just makes me that much more cuddly. I love kisses. I love cuddles. I love humans, and I love attention. I am especially looking forward to warming your feet this winter while we watch a good movie or the Super Bowl. Guess what – I am my foster mom’s favorite. I also was the favorite of the caretaker while my foster mom vacationed! Maybe I will be your favorite, too! Of course, every now & again I do love a good squeaky toy. So I would hope for a couple of those at my new home. But really, in my heart, my biggest wish is for you to want me and love me. Can you find a way to do that? I know I can. I am just waiting for you. While I wish for a cat in my house, this is a very bad idea. You see, cats and I ain’t friends. And though I do enjoy most other dogs, especially the females, I am absolutely The Boss. All things belong to me, and I will be quick to let lesser canines know that. I am a really good, really laidback, really happy young man who is in need of a loving home. Please consider me to be yours. I also have Coop videos for you to view so you can really see how much you can’t resist me. I can’t wait to meet you!! So is this my lucky 7 year? Do you have a home for me? I was named for a hero. See Coop. |
