| Description: |  See more pictures of me at the Christmas page. Handsome? Ha. I’m THE most handsome Siberian Husky in the universe. Bar none! I’m also the happiest & the funniest. Total animation. Show me a toy, and watch me come alive. Some folks think I’m a kitty because I reach for the highest perch. You’ll find me on top looking down. Do not let my age fool you. I act no older than a toddler. High energy. I’m so full of love. I absolutely worship all sorts of people. As I have a very strong prey drive, I cannot live with cats or mini dogs. I am fine with all dogs around my size in a yard or I’m fine all by myself. I can play with dogs 24/7 in a yard, but put me at the end of a leash & I get fussy with all other dogs. Though I love toys, without them, you’ll find me springing & bouncing about. I overcame heartworm disease & am perfect now! Confinement for treatment was difficult because I want to play, play, play. I am chockfull of kisses for all people and will jump up on you for hugs. I always smile and always wag, and there is no dull moment allowed around me. Exuberance plus. That’s a good description of me. I need training! Like I said, I act like a pup. I do not act my age. You need a 6’ fence or a leash for me. I will jump shorter fences. I went to a VA county shelter as a stray and ended up in rescue. I weigh 54 pounds, and my birthday is approximately October 7, 2001. I just want a home where I can love someone. Pet Harbor’s policy is the pets be indoor pets. However, as long as your yard is safe for me, they will make an exception for me because I have decided I can’t stop playing long enough to learn potty training. Named for a hero. See Asher. |
