ADOPTED! If you are the most special kitty person in the world, you can adopt me. You see, I am a very special kitty. Besides being the most loving boy in the world, the softest boy in the world, and the world’s biggest snuggler, I have no eyes. The vet says I probably was born that way. I was in pretty bad shape when I was a little kitten found near a dump. I gain my vision through my ears, paws, and whiskers. I get around very well, but you have to understand the needs of blind kitties. I need to hear your voice before you reach out your hand. I need to always have my feet supported when you lift me from the ground. I need to be shown where things are. I need toys that make noise and the more stationary, the better. And you also have to understand I will be afraid when I cannot see something and don’t know what it is. I exhibit my fears with hisses. You have to assure me there is no harm. You also have to understand I am not an ordinary independent kitty. I want to be held and loved 24 hours a day. Do you have 24 hours a day for me? There is no greater sound to me than the sound of my human’s voice. And, like Mary’s lamb, I follow my human everywhere. Dogs are okay, and I can live with cats if they are gentle kitties and don’t swat or hiss at me. I can live with children, but they have to be the gentle, bookworm types. Rowdy children & loud noises would be scary experiences for me. So not only do you have to be a special person but your family, fur & human, has to be special, too. And you cannot have two needy cats because, like I said, I want you all the time. You won’t be able to get anything done besides petting me. I climb into your arms and that’s where I expect to stay while I purr softly and nuzzle your face. There is one behavior, though, I have that other kitties have. I know what the sound of a can opener means! My birthday is approximately May 19, 2004. I was named for a hero. See Brennan. |
