Description: No catsHousebrokenADOPTED! Nope, I am not a dog. I am a couch potato. A very good boy, I have not had a great life. I came from a bad area. So I escaped a lot. Some people were scared of me (Some folks think huskies look like wolves. I can’t figure that out. Wolves don’t have blue eyes.), but children loved me. So I walked them to school. I kept ending up in the pound because those frightened of me would call the dogcatcher. This time my parents could not come and get me. So I went to rescue, which is a good thing because I do not like being confined in a small place like a shelter. I am nondestructive. I am housebroken. I am good with other dogs and kitties, too, until they move. Moving kitties mean lunch to me. I promise to be a really good dog. All I need is a home and someone to love. My birthday is approximately August 21, 1999, and I weigh 65 pounds. When I came to Pet Harbor, I had Lyme disease. I got medicine for that. So no more Lyme disease. The one thing you really have to think about before adopting me is I have cataracts. In my left eye, I am probably blind. My doctor says I may see shapes at night with that eye, but that is it. I am not a good candidate for surgery because I cannot handle confinement. To have cataract surgery, you have to wear an E-collar for 2-3 weeks. Yeah, right. That is a joke. I would never be caught dead in one of those. I have a macho image to maintain, after all! In my other eye, I have a partial posterior cataract and a torn cornea. That means I don't see too well now and may soon be totally blind. Blind dogs are great dogs, too, but it is something you need to consider. I need a home where the furniture isn't moved around a lot & there aren't a lot of stairs I have to climb. Because of my special need, the donation to adopt me is only $100. My foster mom says I am absolutely the world’s most flawless dog. I hope you will think about adopting the world’s most flawless dog. To be absolutely perfect, that means I have a good home of my very own, and I deserve one. I am named for a hero (and the fact that my transporter just came back from Alaska). See Fairbanks.
