ADOPTED! Named for a hero, I also was dubbed "Armstrong" by volunteer Hugh who says I sing like Louie Armstrong. My congregation is any dog there is. I love them soooooo much. People are wonderful, too. So I hope my home will have both! I was a stray who ended up in a county shelter. Though my coat is nice and I know some commands, meaning someone somewhere sometime took care of me, I weighed only 43 pounds when I came to Pet Harbor. When I get up to my correct size, I will weigh 60 pounds. I'm looking for someone to spoonfeed me while I gaze into their eyes. Yes, I'll sing for my supper! Somewhere in my travels, I got heartworm disease. I hope your pets are protected because this is not fun. April 8 I started treatment. When I am all better, I can go to a new home, around mid May. Adoption applications are being accepted now. Though I'm not housebroken yet, by the time I can go to a new home, I probably will be. Extra loving and extra sweet, I'm equally as handsome. I get along just fine with cats, dogs, children, everything but veterinarians, and that’s because they stick me with things that hurt. Quite the ladies’ man, if you will excuse me, I have to get back to my fillies. They don't like to play without me because I give great kisses. ;) |
