ADOPTED! Sadly, after 7 months in a home, I was returned to Pet Harbor. The really sad part is my dad said I was having trouble with housebreaking. However, my foster mom leaves me and goes to work all day, and I have had absolutely no accidents whatsoever. She is totally baffled, but she keeps saying I am an "awesome" dog. I don't know exactly what "awesome" means, but I sure hope it's a good thing! My foster mom says I get into absolutely no trouble whatsoever, and she thinks I'm pretty durn close to perfect. Perfect I know is good! A very gentle dog, completely quiet and nondestructive, I get along with everything & everybody very well. Even the smallest of puppies and kittens are my friends. The only issue my foster mom says I have is submissive urination, meaning I am super omega dog and when I get excited that you are showing me so much attention, I might tinkle a bit. At 2 years of age, I weigh 51 pounds. Because I'm so omega, I prefer a home with quiet children, though I am fine with children of any age. My tail doesn't stop wagging! Perpetual wagging they call it, whatever that means. Call my name. I wag on cue. Another male dog & I were dumped in a very overcrowded county shelter together by our owner. The other dog was adopted, & I deserve a chance, too. A shelter employee fell madly in love with me. She did all she could to get me to safety. It's a good thing I don't live at that house anymore. I lived in a board pen with a tarp cover. When I first came to Pet Harbor, I wouldn't come near the house. Once I realized what love was and that there were no more boards or a tarp, I was the first to come in the house. I'm so starved for attention that once you start petting me, I will not let you stop. I will nudge you gently with my nose. I am part Siberian Husky. The other might be Chow Chow-Samoyed mix. Whatever I am, I am absolutely beautiful (or handsome or whatever one wants to call it) & have the softest, saddest eyes in the world. Maybe if I had a home, my eyes would brighten! Besides, my foster mom needs for me to have a home. She ignores her own dogs now and pets only me! Her dogs don't like that very much. Oh, well. I do! Come & pet me & find out I have the most beautiful, softest fur you ever saw in your life. My name means something special. To see what it means, go to Leo. |
